About Us
WorkReady is a state-run program in partnership with local adult education offices across the state. We provide work-training classes to individuals who are inexperienced in the workplace or simply would like to boost their chances of getting a new job.
Standards
Each local WorkReady program is based on the statewide WorkReady Curriculum, and is run by a trained WorkReady Facilitator. Locations typically include Adult Education offices, Career Centers, Correctional Facilities, and Community Colleges.
All programs are supervised by both the Maine Department of Education, and one of four regional Workforce Investment Boards.
